Mother's Day is super close for us now in the UK but I believe it is in May in the US unless I am mistaken. Hand-made gifts give that personal touch I feel and this is perfect to give that personal touch and something that would be ever-lasting.

My mum uses something similar to turn her pictures into cross-stitch patterns. Unfortunately, she struggles now due to pain in her hands but has found a way to do the same thing for diamond art which she is enjoying doing. I would love to get back to cross-stitching myself when I can.

When it comes to a leap year, I see it as an extra day in the year to catch up on work and tasks I need to do. We only get this extra day every 4 years and I feel it is nice. I guess we really do on some occasions get 366 days in a year :)
