We don't need one so haven't tried building a bee house. Just be sure you use eco materials so it's less toxic for our little pollinators. We have a ton of bees around here. I love watching them. I like this link 'cos it expands on ideas. Even using sod piles!

My sister-in-law bought me one of these for Christmas last year! I had it hanging from a tree and saw that some insects were using it, but I didn't know that the bees were the ones it was purposed for.

I am always seeing bees struggling during the warmer months and no matter how much we try to help them, I always find they end up not making it. Something like this would be awesome and more than likely help the bees. No more than ever its needed to protect them.
