Some ideas for people to make feeders. We've done grape jelly for Orioles but they preferred the suet instead. Oranges worked okay. Never did mealworms. Doesn't appeal to me lol
Right now we just have 2 sunflower & 2 suet feeders.
What do you all have?

My mom used to just throw out bread for the birds. It took a while for them to learn that the bread would be there for them to return. I tried throwing out bread once and they wouldn't eat it!

My area doesn't have enough birds to do this sadly. Stupid cats killed them all.

Having bird feeders is always ideal especially during winter time. I myself use to throw bread out for the birds but I found out that its not good for them so I stopped doing it and I now put things out for them I know are suitable.
