Christmas calender

I am not sure how its done around the world. But to keep track of the Christmas calender. We light a candle on every 5th day and pray for a blessing. Its christmas when we are ready to light the 5th candle.

This time.around, I want to make a Christmas craft like a fancy candle stand or something to decorate my living room. Any ideas?

I know about the christmas ring with 5 candles, but thats too cliche.

I've seen some candles in clay pots with some greenery in between. That looks festive, just don't let the candle burn down too much and start a fire.

An idea could be having names of family members written on those clay pots. Other people use pinecones around the centerpiece.
