Dedicated Website Vs Other Sites

When selling your crafts, have you created a dedicated website for them? Or have you relied on third-party sites and platforms to sell your crafts? Whilst it can be great to create your own site, it can be quite difficult to promote and get people to visit the site.
 
I think having both can work! If you have your own platform you don't have to share a percentage of the sales, but if you go to a third-party, you can refer people to your own platform after a sale is made so they can get a deal there.
 
I have an online store and sell from my own store. I have built my store on woocommerce.
