Guinea Pig Santa Hats

A few years ago I tore apart a stocking I got at the Dollar Tree store and created 2 little santa hats using hot glue for my daughter's 2 guinea pigs. It was easy to make but getting them to take a good photo was the hardest part!

I love these! What are some tips & tricks for getting guinea pigs (& other animals for that matter) to stay still long enough to take a picture? I know if it's our dog or cat, one of us would distract their attention & have them focus on our fingers. Problem is, they would then try to MOVE to go to those fingers as they know they'd get pet lol

We used carrots to get the guinea pigs' attention! They were handfed so they were used to waiting for us to feed them a carrot and that enabled me to get the perfect shot.
