Selling your craft online or offline?

When it comes to selling your craft online or offline, which one normally makes more sale for you? Personally, I think that utilizing both of the options of selling both online and offline would work better than just selling either online or offline.

It also depends on your product. When I made lotion balms & lipglosses, I didn't like sending them through the mail. Then it was only in the cooler months as warm weather, being in hot vehicles, deteriorated the product. Craft shows & fairs are quite popular here with people making their own items & selling them. If you share a booth or table with others, you have more success.

If you want to sell offline, you need to set up a shop in a busy marketplace, which can be very costly. However, when you try selling online, you can easily sell from home. You can either sell from your own online store or third-party ecommerce platforms.

Selling offline is better most times. When you meet with potential customers and make a sale, you have that fulfilment that things are going well as you expect since the physical contact is a big advantage for me.

There's no way selling either only online or offline would be better than selling on both. So, I would make use of both avenues in selling of my craft.
Even if I don't have a shop of my own, I would ask any of my friends that have to lend a spot in their shop to display my crafts.

Using both options is massive. You get to make more sales when you can capture those buying online as well as those that are offline. So, I agree with what you said.

I understand that why most people focus on selling of their craft online is simply because some of them doesn't have a physical shop to display their works for walk in customers. Also, the cost of running a physical shop deter them from getting into the project.
