Working with Shipping

If you were working with Amazon, Ebay etc., you'd need to know about shipping. Myself, I haven't done this sort of stuff before. Can anyone give me a heads up on some basics I should know?

Buy a scale is my first advice. It's hard to know how much shipping will cost if you don't know the weight of your package. If you mail the same items out again and again then you'll know how much to charge your customers before they buy.

That’s good advice. Always make sure you have weighing scales because whilst mail is based around size, weight plays a huge part in that too. So that’s a good start. Also learn what devices your local mail operator provides.

If you can get a service that will take a percentage and fee on your sales, and manage distribution and production for you; that would ultimately save you a lot of time on shipping. The advice the OP mentioned is helpful to, thank you! If you grow big, it could then be worth individually shipping it and hiring a logistics team
