Planter - Made with love!

Post: # 554Post marteebee »

Sorry the images are a bit big, can't make them smaller! I wanted to share a little project I was working on with my partner over the past few months. We took some wood offcuts from someone on Facebook and we turned it into a DIY planter. Once there, we painted/sealed it and my partner worked on burning the wood where needed. Then we painted the flowers/trees/etc. to give it a bit of life. For a quick DIY attempt at a present, it came out really well! My partners nan loved it!

This is really good! I like homemade gifts as they give a personal touch. What types of flowers/ plants is she using it for?

That's absolutely gorgeous! I love how it's multi-dimensional.

I think at the moment it's sitting in the garden being used for some lilies as best I know! Always lovely to see it when we pop over for a bit of tea and she always talks about how lovely it is. It may have took us a long time but it was worth it, just to learn the skills even. :)
